AT least 13 people from Nyamirami parish in Muhokya sub-county, Kasese district, have been killed while poaching in the Queen Elizabeth National Park in less than three years.

We may say poaching is another killer virus like HIV/AIDS,†Eric Bakerethi, LC2 chairman Nyamirami parish said recently.He was speaking at the last funeral rites for Rogers Mateso and two others believed to have been killed by game rangers in the park last year.Mateso and colleagues are said to have been killed in the Kikorongo region of the park.Ends
