Man steals underwear

A young man was embarrassed before residents of Kikaaya, after he was found with a stolen under-wear from one of his friends. This happened on the evening of April 9. The young man stole the underwear from a one Lwanga, his neighbour.“I normally wash my under-clothes and hang them on a wire in the bathroom to dry. But when I came back on Sunday, I realised that one of them was missing,” Lwanga said. On asking another of his neighbours, he was told that the man had been seen near the bathroom.Immediately, a search for the man began. After two hours, he was found dressed smartly and walking to Kalerwe: “When he was asked if he had seen the underwear, he said no. That is when Lwanga and his friends decided to search him,” one of Lwanga’s friends said.Knowing that he was guilty, he tried to fight them off. However, he was over powered and put to the ground: “When his trouser buttons were opened, it was discovered that he was putting on the very underwear he had just stolen.The thief pleaded for mercy, explaining that he had just borrowed it, but not stolen it. Lwanga gave him two powerful slaps, before letting him go. He gave him the under-wear. The once talkative man has been rare in the village drinking joint since then.ends
