There was unwelcome drama when a hostile gang of mating dogs blocked the way to Rubaga Road Flats near Namirembe Road, effectively holding the people who stay in the flats hostage.The dogs, numbering in the 20s, threatened all the residents putting up in the four flat blocks. Some of the residents tried to enter the gate, but the dogs were very hostile and made as if to attack them.It was not until late in the evening, at about 8:00pm, when the security personnel came to the rescue of the residents.They opened fire on the dogs, which scattered in different directions.ends
