THE Kyabazinga of Busoga, Henry Wako Muloki, has urged the new district council leaders to exhibit leadership that will register development to enable their subjects fight poverty.

By Moses NampalaTHE Kyabazinga of Busoga, Henry Wako Muloki, has urged the new district council leaders to exhibit leadership that will register development to enable their subjects fight poverty.He made the call recently while addressing the five district chairpersons at his palace at Nakabango, Mafubira sub-county in Jinja district.Muloki had invited the leaders for a luncheon at the palace to congratulate them upon their victory in the just concluded elections.They included Gume Ngobi, (Jinja), Asuman Kyafu (Iganga), Kaloli Baligeya (Kamuli), Siraji Lyavala (Bugiri) and Baker Ikoba (Mayuge).“Busoga region is haunted by a myriad of challenges. We can only overcome this if you, the civic leaders are willing to unite and co-operate,” the Kyabazinga said.He urged the leaders to increase their efforts in fighting poverty.Ends
