THE mid-western Regional Police Commander, Grace Turyagumanawe, has warned LC courts in Kibaale district against handling criminal cases.

By Amlan TumusiimeTHE mid-western Regional Police Commander, Grace Turyagumanawe, has warned LC courts in Kibaale district against handling criminal cases.Turyagumanawe said cases like rape, murder, defilement and robber should only be handled by the Police.He was recently addressing residents of Nalweyo and Kakindo sub-counties during a three-day familiarisation tour in the district.Turyagumanawe was accompanied by the regional CID officer, John Bwangu, regional special branch officer Justine Ouma and the district Police Commander, Maolis Leku.he warned civilians against mob action, saying it is a criminal act and punishable in the courts of law.He advised civilians to hand over suspects to the Police.Turyagumanawe urged the public to cooperate with the Police.
