Luweero Police has arrested a businesswoman and her lover over last week’s ritual murder in which a 13-year-old girl, was mutilated and buried in a shrine.

By Frederick KiwanukaLuweero Police has arrested a businesswoman and her lover over last week’s ritual murder in which a 13-year-old girl, was mutilated and buried in a shrine.The girl’s body, without the private parts, the heart and tongue, was buried in a shallow grave in the grass-thatched shrine at nakikoota near Luweero town.Police on Wednesday exhumed the decomposing body for the fourth time in a vain attempt to identify the victim.Luweero DPC Godfrey Taire said Rose Ssaku and Gerald Magambo were arrested after they were implicated by the witchdoctor, Henry Mutyaba, in whose shrine the body was discovered.Mutyaba reportedly told the police that the two suspects attended the ritual ceremony in which the victim was sacrificed.Ends
