VOLLEYBALL - OVER 23 teams have registered for the KAVC Memorial volleyball championships that kicks off on Saturday at Lugogo indoor stadium. Just fresh from clinching the Nkumba Open, KAVC will be the team to watch in the ladies’ category. For the men, all eyes will be on the defending champions Kigali Volleyball Club from Rwanda. Burundi will be represented by A’mital Burundi Army and National University Bujumbura. DR Congo, Kenya and Rwanda will also send teams.Ends
