By Eddie SsejjobaThe supporters of the Justice Forum (JEEMA) party of former presidential candidate Kibirige Mayanja in Rakai have disowned their district coordinator Sheikh Sulaiman Sserugo, who declared that he had joined the Movement. Sserugo declared recently that he had decided to support the Movement and he mobilised over 2,000 party members whom he introduced to the district authorities. The group was welcomed by the district chairman, Vincent Ssemakula and the resident district commissioner, Dauda Kasibante, at Kyotera mosque amid applause from the Movement supporters. He said JEEMA members had no reason to support Kibirige, who had lost twice in the presidential elections. However, JEEMA members opposed the claim that Sserugo had been one of them. Yasin Kayemba, who claims to be the party acting district coordinator, said Sserugo had been sacked after the recent presidential campaigns. Ends
