Hoima, too, belongs to Uganda!

SIR— I wish to appeal to the information ministry to assist the people living outside the Hoima town to be availed a chance to be given a chance to see television.Since Uganda Television began, people in the district, apart from those just within Hoima town itself, have never had a chance to get TV signals.We missed the World Cup, which even inmates in Luzira Prison were able to see! Soon there will be empango and the royal wedding of King Solomon Iguru plus the enthronement of the bishop-elect of Bunyoro, Rev Can Kyamanywa. All these will just pass without other people seeing them, since on these occasions not everyone can attend.During the presidential campaign in 1996, President Museveni promised to solve this matter before the end of 1996; to date nothing has happened.
