Steven Kashaka has recorded a statement with the Police, defending himself against allegations that he assaulted Ngora county MP Francis Epetait at Entebbe International Airport.Kashaka, a former UPDF Chief of Personnel and Administration, said yesterday that he recorded a statement with Entebbe Police on Tuesday, denying any wrong doing. Instead, he said, he has instructed his lawyers, Tumusiime, Kabega and Company Advocates to sue sections of the media, which alleged he assaulted the MP.“My version is that I refute everything especially what The Monitor published. The matter seem to be going to court,” a relaxed Kashaka said.“I am preparing my defence and I am suing The Monitor,” he added.The Brigadier said he had made a report to the Director General of Internal Security Organisation , Brig. Henry Tumukunde.Ends
