He was impressed by the boys’ talent and after learning of the team’s woes, he promised support.The Hippos were one goal up at half time after a Dan Obote’s out of the box strike but the Egyptians struck thrice in the second half.“It was after discussions that he found out that we were ill prepared. He gave us his contacts and promised us support,” Ahmed Wadriff, head of delegation said.The team resumes residential training on Thursday ahead of their return leg due August 10.Meanwhile, the national team — The Cranes will today play the visiting South Korean club Hallelujah in an international build up friendly ahead of their departure on Thursday for the four-nation cup in Sudan.Ends
