Mbale cadres will not fight LRA rebels, says RDC

Nathan Etengu in MbaleTHE Mbale resident district commissioner, Hajji Abas Seguya, has assured the cadres who have just completed a military science and political education programme in Mbale town that they were not trained to go and fight the Lords Resistance Army of Joseph Kony.He was on Sunday presiding over the pass out ceremony for 250 youth and women who completed the three-week course.He said the people who were spreading the negative rumours were empty-headed. He said it was disheartening for some people to accept to be led into ignorance.“My condolences to some of your colleagues who abandoned the course after listening to the satanic talk,” Seguya said.
