Rwandan national Yugoslav coach, Ratomir Dujkovic (Right) and Jules Kalisa, assistant general secretary of Rwanda football federation (Ferwafa), completed a “spying” mission on Uganda Cranes and the Ghana Black Stars.

“We are here to watch and analyse both teams ahead of our fixtures with them,” Dujkovic said, after the Group 13 Nations Cup opening game that Uganda won 1-0 in Kampala on Saturday.

“I am going to draw a formula for both sides when I go back to Rwanda. We have been preparing seriously for our opener with Ghana. We have had a series of build-up games and we hope that they will be of good significance to us.

r FUFA secretary Haruna Mawanda has said Cranes will be back in training in a week’s time to start preparing for the Algeria trip, adds Norman Katende.

“Our next qualifier is in March (30th) but we still have a number of build ups. Our immediate game is against Algeria on September 24 and they (players) have to prepare for it,” said Mawanda.

He said FUFA is waiting for the technical committee to give a programme.

The Algerian trip has been boosted by the offer of air tickets by the Algerian Football Federation, who will also cater for other expenses.

Meanwhile, reports from Accra indicate the Black Stars coach is going to drop half his team.

After the Black Stars 0-1 loss to Uganda, Black Stars coach Milan Zivadinovich has been firing salvos of his own.

The coach says half the team that played Cranes at the weekend will not be called back.
