GULU University of agriculture and environmental science (GUAES) will on October 12 open its door to the 312 students admitted for this academic year, reports <b>James Odong</b>.

“We are now set to open on October 12 for government sponsored students. Those on private sponsorship will report on October 14,†GUAES vice-chancellor Dr. Jack Nyeko Pen Mogi said yesterday.
According to the admission list which the New Vision has seen, among the students admitted are Gulu LC5 chairman Lt. Col Walter Ochora, former state minister for sports Alfred Omony Ogaba and Gulu Movement chairman Charles Odora Oryem.
They were admitted for a three-year bachelor of development studies under private sponsorship.
