MP Mbalibulha Kibanzanga says he is lately having sleepless nights after receiving two telephone calls he suspects to be from State security agents out to frame him on allegation that he is part of the People’s Redemption Army (PRA) rebels, reports John Kakande.

“It is psychological terrorism,” Kibazanga, the Busongora South MP, said at a press conference he jointly addressed with his colleague, Joseph Kule Muranga (Busongora North).

Kibanzanga and Muranga called the press to clarify reports that the PRA, led by Col. Samson Mande and Lt. Col. Anthony Kyakabale, were recruiting youths in Kasese.

Kule Muranga said the reports earlier attributed to him were false.

Kibanzanga said he had twice received telephone calls on his mobile phone from two people, with one claiming to be Kyakabale. The other person purportedly called Kibanzanga to get the contact of PRA.

“I got a call from someone saying he was Kyakabale. This fool was calling from Kampala, but he said he was in Kasese carrying out deployments. The telephone code showed the call was from Kampala,” Kibanzanga said.

“Yesterday, I got another one (call). The person said he wanted the contact of the PRA. I said, ‘stop that nonsense.’

“I am not party to that...they want to frame me,” he said.
