KABAROLE – Torrential rains recently de-roofed six houses in Fort portal Police barracks, leaving the occupants homeless. The afternoon rains left household property damaged, the victims said.
Six families have now resorted to sharing with their colleagues whose equally aged asbestos roofed houses resisted the downpour. Kabarole district Police commander, Francis Tumushabe, said he had informed police headquarters in kampala about the incident. He said some assistance had been promised.
