An unidentified assailant shot 26-year-old Ali Miyzaan in the stomach outside Detroit’s Phoenix Theatre after he dropped in for the premiere of 8 Mile last Saturday, police spokesman Glen Woods told Reuters.
He said Miyzaan had been trying to break up a fight outside the theatre when “somebody shot him from somewhere.â€
