SIR— Mbarara Municipality MP Winnie Byanyima seems to have strayed from her original vision. She keeps on scarring herself and then claiming Government is after her.
Some time ago, she went to the Kenyan national television and alleged that Uganda was training armed groups to destabilise Rwanda. But the joint verification team set up by the two governments could not find any water in her allegations.
Now recently, she opposed the UPDF claim that the man whose photo was published in the press was James Opoka, a former aide to Kizza Besigye, was not him. I used to like her brilliant ideas and that's why I supported her. Let her not lose her original vision. Let her assist the Government to fight problems like corruption.
