Mutale gets
GULU – Presidential assistant Major Kakooza Mutale has received a Mwami’akooye (traditional chair) from members of the Civic Education Development Organisation of the Kalanga Action Plan. The chairperson, Christine Omoget, handed over the chair on December 8.

No escorts
LIRA – WFP director, Ken Noah Davis has said food supplies to Kitgum and Pader districts have gone down due to inadequate security for the convoys transporting food. He told The New Vision recently the amount of food estimated to feed 271,000 displaced persons in 20 centres had reduced.

LRA advised
GULU – The RDC, Max Omeda, has said LRA rebel leader Joseph Kony must consider the suffering of his people, who have now lost hope in their lives. Omeda told The New Vision recently that Kony was fighting a senseless war, with no headway other than killing innocent people.
