MOROTO – Lucia Caredu, a long-serving Italian educationist in Karamoja has died. Caredu, 84, a Catholic nun of the missionary congregation of Daniel Comboni and founder headmistress of Kangole School for the Blind died last week in Italy after sustaining a spinal injury. During a requiem mass in her memory at Regina Mundi Cathedral, Caredu was hailed for serving the region for over 50 years.Ends
