By William Muwonge TEENAGE golfer Gabriel Muhwezi will defend his Kim’s Open title on foreign ground in Lugazi March 2-3. The 17-year old Ntare school student, winner of the event at his home course in Mbarara, is one of Ugandan golf’s breed of new talent. The 36-hole event sponsored by Kampala firms including Kim’s Medical centre will be held at Lugazi course. Kim’s Open comes after the New Year Open that also served as a curtain raiser to the new season. Men will be drawn in three groups - A for players of handicap 0-9, B (h/c 10-18) and C (above h/c 18). Women will be split in two group-A (h/c 0-18) and B (h/c 19-36). There will be the longest drive and nearest to the pin awards.
