Masaka residents vow not to pay tax

By Ali Mambule Ndagwe residents in Masaka district have vowed not to pay tax for the year 2002 due to allegations that the district has lost over sh15m from 1999 to the present.Speaking to journalists outside the Masaka chief magistrate’s court, Makondo village LC3 chairman Victor Muliika protested against the misappropriation of the said money.He said the money meant for the development of the area that was the 25% and five percent of Ndagwe parish and Makondo village respectively got lost.
