Zittel not amused with U-20 coaches

UGANDA technical football director, Gunter Zittel, has expressed dismay over FUFA’s decision to sign new coaches for the under-20 team.

By Silvano Kibuuka UGANDA technical football director, Gunter Zittel, has expressed dismay over FUFA’s decision to sign new coaches for the under-20 team.Zittel, who has recovered from the fever he picked after a Christmas holiday in Germany, said that he was not happy with the new FUFA decision. FUFA replaced Jimmy Muguwa and Charles Namakola with Barnabas Mwesiga and Timothy Ayieko.‘’I am not against those coaches but I believe Muguwa and Namakola were more acquainted with the U-20s. The appointees should have handled the Cranes’’, he said.Mwesiga and Ayieko are ex-internationals and both former Cranes tacticians.John Semanobe, head of FUFA’s technical wing, said they did not want to frustrate young coaches.ends
