Schools get laboratory equipment

A TOTAL of 40 secondary schools under the Mobile Science and Laboratories Facilities (MOSLAFA) have received a donation of laboratory equipment worth sh6m from the Ministry of Education and Sports.

By Ali MambuleA TOTAL of 40 secondary schools under the Mobile Science and Laboratories Facilities (MOSLAFA) have received a donation of laboratory equipment worth sh6m from the Ministry of Education and Sports.The schools from Rakai, Sembabule and Masaka districts are to share the equipment which include acids and other chemicals.Among the schools are Kinoni Integrated S S and St. Joseph SS Nkoni, Kaddugala SS in Masaka district and Modern SS in Sembabule.The equipment was delivered to the schools by MOSLAFA coordinator and headmaster of Sseke S S, Mr. Mwinyi Masudi.Mwinyi thanked the ministry for donating to the private schools, saying the equipment would help the schools improve the practical part of the science subjects. He urged teachers to put more emphasis on science subjects.
