Abdalla Nasur on Wednesday made his first public address since his release last year, in which he said he is a staunch Movementist.Nasur, who spoke in English at a party he hosted to celebrate Luweero chairman Hajji Abdul Nadduli’s victory, also told members of his Bombo Nubian Community to support the Government.“Fellow Movementists, let us all unite and support Government. We should support the Government at all costs,†Nasur said.He said the Nubians had no cause to go against the Government because it fulfilled their demand to have him released.“You used to write memos that you will not vote for the Government in case they did not release me. But I am released and you have no excuse for not supporting the Government,†he told the crowd.Nadduli and hundreds of his supporters who made a stop over at Nasur’s home had earlier on travelled in a long procession through Luweero, Wobulenzi and Bombo towns.Nadduli thanked Nasur for the support during the campaigns, saying he was a wonderful mobiliser.He said the Government would construct a sh3.9b building for the district to compensate for the former district headquarters, which the army took over at Bombo.Ends
