TWO people were on Thursday injured when a fuel truck rammed into an electrical appliance shop at Kibuye, reports Catherine Ntabadde.The driver and turn-boy sustained injuries in the face, hand and chest, according to an eyewitness. Their names could not be established by press time. A security man who guards the shop, Moses Senyonjo, told The New Vision that the Police patrol vehicle rushed the victims to Mulago Hospital. “These people were badly injured. We had to pull them out of the car because they had got stuck in the vehicle. The driver passed out a lot of blood,” Senyonjo said.The trailer’s front part was damaged. The shop was damaged, especially door and the front wall. There was no major damage on the inside part of the shop owned by Rose Musoke.The Katwe Police O/C Traffic, Inspector Paul Baguma, said the accident was due to high speed.
