Ssebaana who wore a white T-shirt, a pair of blue jeans trousers and gumboots, launched the clean the city exercise on Kafumbe Mukasa (Central Division) Road.Kampala City Council (KCC) bulldozers and garbage trucks ferried away the garbage.Before moving on to Nateete trading centre (Rubaga Division), Ssebaana told traders on Kafumbe Mukasa Road that it was their responsibility to clean their working environment.He said he wanted the city to be the cleanest urban centre in the country.From Nateete, Ssebaana moved to Katwe (Makindye Division) and made his final stop at Ndeeba, one of the dirtiest slums in the city.Ssebaana told the crowd there that hygiene was paramount.At the Constitutional Square, he was happy to see people cleaning the city. “That is the spirit that needs to be nurtured,†he said.Ends
