They are now prisoners

SIR— My observation is that Mary Okurut, Onapito Ekomoloit and Ofwono Opondo have changed their way of writing (and thinking). Before these people joined the President’s office, they used to write articles which were concise, objective, rich in information and analysis, natural, and from their own hearts. But now they have to pretend in order to defend their salaries and hence their articles end up being shallow. A good example is when Onapito wrote about the mayoral elections entitled, “Museveni still walks head high.” He did not know that “Ziritwawula was to be a puppet mayor had he gone through”. Poor Onapito, he is now a prisoner!James WairaKampala
