A prominent businessman in Masaka Town picked a quarrel with a special hire taxi driver over four pieces of soap. The man hired him to take his daughter to vocational school.The driver requested him to refuel the vehicle at a Shell petrol station in Nyendo. The man accepted and paid sh10,000, expecting to receive four pieces of soap from the pump attendant.The soap, however, was not forthcoming and and the driver started the vehicle, but was prevented from leaving by the businessman: “Tell her to give us the soap first,” he told the driver.“She said that we don’t have soap and that we shall get it when we return,” the taxi driver said.The businessman accused the driver of scheming with the lady to come back for the soap himself, and was ready to wait it out at the station, but was forced to leave by the station’s guard, as he was blocking traffic.ends
