AMREF Uganda is looking for a suitably qualified person to fill the position of Programme Officer (Human Resource Development/ Primary Health Care Training).

AMREF Uganda is looking for a suitably qualified person to fill the position of Programme Officer (Human Resource Development/ Primary Health Care Training).The Programme Officer (HRD/ PHC Training) will be responsible for supporting Human Resources Development for the health sector.Main duties:1. Assessment of training needs for health and developing strategies to meet the needs2. Preparing implementation plans and budgets for PHC training3. Implementing PHC Training Programme activities4. Supervising and monitoring implementation of PHC Training Programme5. Preparation of reports on PHC Training Programme6. Controlling the resources for PHC training to ensure proper use and maintenance7. Providing guidance and facilitation of government counterparts in the development of training programmes and management of the training function8. Liaison with government and other partners in Human Resources Development for health9. Identifying and developing new programmes in Human Resources Development10. Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.Qualifications:1. Candidates should have graduate qualification(s) in Health Personnel Education2. Candidates should have at least three (3) years experience working in Human Resource Development or Health Personnel Education programmes.3.
