Kodiri leads military team

UGANDA Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) yesterday appointed Col. Mark Kodiri as delegation head for the team that is to participate at the inaugural Africa Military Games in Nairobi.

Mark Kodiri as delegation head for the team that is to participate at the inaugural Africa Military Games in Nairobi.The games are set to start on Sunday at Nairobi’s Kasarani stadium complex and will attract over 33 countries.Kodiri will be deputised by UPDF sports director Lt Col Moses Diba. The duo, together with general team manger, Capt Moses Kabusenene, will be Uganda’s delegates to the African meeting, which will take place alongside the games.Major Barigye was named team doctor while Capt Matthew Kalema, George Isabirye, Sgt. Abbey Mukasa, Benjamin Longiros and Kent Musa will be managers for football, handball, tae-kwondo, athletics and boxing.ends
