AMREF is looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions:Job Title: Project Assistant (Commercial Sex Workers Project) Kibe Zone, Kawempe Division.Overall purpose of the job: The Project Assistant will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the project activities to support the health needs of CSWs registered in the project and their children aged below 5 years.Qualifications:- A Diploma in Public Health Nursing, Comprehensive Nursing or equivalent.- Training and facilitation skills, counseling skills and computer skills in word and spreadsheets.- Working knowledge of the Syndromic Management of STDs- At least 5 years experience of working with communities. Work experience with NGOs will be an added advantage.Job Title: Project Assistant (Community/Social Mobilisation) - Nakasongola AIDS Orphans.Overall purpose of the job:The Project Assistant will wok with the communities, the existing community structure and the supporting partners to provide assistance to Orphans and other Vulnerable Children (OVCs) to realise their full potential through the mitigation of the socio-economic impact of War and HIV/AIDS.Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in SWASA or its equivalent- Experience in working with communities for 3 years.- Computer skills- Community mobilization skillsApplications together with CVs and copies of certificates, testimonials, names of three referees you have worked with and a day telephone contact should be addressed to:Human Resource ManagerAMREFP.O.
