Inzikuru thrills N’bi

UGANDA’S world junior 5000 metres champion Dorcas Inzikuru was the star attraction in Kenya at the weekend when she eclipsed top rated runners to win the 1500 metres race during a track and field meeting, reports Reuben Olita.A student at Mvara SS in Arua, Inzikuru overcame a spirited challenge to beat junior international Jeruto Kiptum in 4:30.50, one minute 30 seconds ahead of the Kenyan star runner.The Ugandan junior champion has been training in the high altitude Ngong hills near Nairobi with a view to better her speed in her speciality, 5000m.ends
