Private Schools Hailed

STATE minister for primary education Namirembe Bitamazire has hailed private schools for supplementing government efforts, reports James Bakunzi.She said private institutions “have played a big role in contributing to the education sector since the liberalisation of all sectors in the economy.”Bitamazire was addressing parents and teachers at Entebbe Christian School at Kakeeka in Entebbe on Sunday. MP Byatike Matovu attended the function.She advised primary school heads to form finance committees to ensure proper use and accountability of the Universal Primary Education (UPE) funds.Ends
