Kiboga Reconciliation Meeting Called Off

By Fred KayizziA meeting organised by President Yoweri Museveni to reconcile Kiboga leaders over the weekend flopped after state minister for defence Ruth Nankabirwa failed to show up.A source said Nankabirwa, the district woman MP, reportedly delivered a baby a week ago and is on maternity leave. The source said Museveni had called the meeting at his country home in Rwakitura, Mbarara district, on Saturday to resolve Kiboga’s political wrangles. However, Museveni, reportedly declined to meet the Kiboga delegation in the absence of Nankabirwa whom he said was instrumental in the reconciliation process of the district.Ends
