SEVEN New Vision readers on Saturday won prizes in the on going Simba Telecom/New Vision Beckenbauer World Cup 2002 quiz, writes Vision Reporter.The seven are winners of Quiz 1 to Quiz 7 and apart from the daily prizes of T-shirts, caps and Bandanas, qualify for the weekly draw for an Ericsson T10 phone to be done mid-week. The draw was done by New Vision corporate accounts manager Sara Kahangi at the company’s marketing office in Kampala.Edwin Aruho of P.O. Box 33590 Kampala, got a double, winning both Quiz 4 and 5. The lucky winner of Quiz 1, whose answer was “Maradona played in the 19982, 1986, 1990 and 1994 World Cups”, was Moses Bossa of P.O. Box 11428 Kampala.Quiz 2, whose answer was “Uruguay won the final of a round robin contest in 1950”, was Richard Bukone on telephone 077592752.Quiz 3, whose answer was “The National Stadium of the National Fascist Party in 1934” was won by Judith Nasimolo of P.O. Box 5438 KampalaQuiz 4, whose answer was Brazil 1958, and Quiz 5 “Pak Doo Ik of North Korea in the 1-0 defeat of Italy in 1966”, were won by Aruho.Quiz 6, “Mexico 1970”, was won by Jesse Mugero of 077602597 and Quiz 7, “1954, Austria 7 Switzerland 5”, was won by Ernest Sandrill Odwol of P.O. Box 7279 Kampala.Simba Telecom and New Vision in a World Cup offer, will give out a mobile phone weekly, and daily prizes of T-shirts, caps and bandanas.
