Two thugs die in raid

KAMPALA — Two armed thugs were gunned down in a failed car robbery on Sunday night in Namungoona in Rubaga. Aloysius Kagwa of Kinoyaa and a boda-boda rider at the Kasubi stage, and Samuel Bagole of Bwaise central, who carried a sub-machinegun and a knife, were gunned down by their victim at 10:00pm. Police spokesman Asuman Mugenyi yesterday said the two met their death as they tried to hijack a Pajero from Kakooza, a businessman who carried a licensed gun.Ends
