MASINDI — A combined force of the Special Revenue Protection Sevices, the Police Marines and Fisheries Department personnel have impounded illegal fishing nets on Lake Albert. The district fisheries officer on Thursday said seven large nets were impounded at Butiaba Port and Bugoigo landing sites. The operation was launched last month to save the Nile Perch species on the lake.Ends
