KAMPALA — Uganda has appointed Evans Asiimwe as its first ever honorary consul to Kenya.

KAMPALA — Uganda has appointed Evans Asiimwe as its first ever honorary consul to Kenya. Asiimwe, who is resident in Mombasa, took over office on June 20 after he presented his credentials to Kenya’s minister for foreign affairs and international cooperation, Marsden Madoka. A statement by the Ugandan High Commission in Kenya said Asiimwe would be based in Mombasa.Ends
