Tight Guards Beat Up Thief

KAMPALA — A phone thief was on Tuesday evening seized and beaten by five Tight Security guards when he failed to snatch a mobile phone from a car in a traffic jam. The man, who failed to snatch the phone from an Indian in the jam at Wampewo Avenue roundabout, dashed through the park and fell into the hands of the guards. But the guards freed him when taxi touts and bodaboda cyclists shouted abuses at them for not allowing them to share in the beating.Ends
