Kintu Musoke Hails UPC Man

FORMER Prime Minister Kintu-Musoke on Monday praised the late Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) vice-president, Paulo Muwanga for his courage in fighting Idi Amin and encouraging Muslims to get education.

FORMER Prime Minister Kintu-Musoke on Monday praised the late Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) vice-president, Paulo Muwanga for his courage in fighting Idi Amin and encouraging Muslims to get education.Geresom Musamali reports that Kintu Musoke was speaking during the burial of Muwanga’s daughter, Yayeri Nakaggwa Muwanga, 41.Nakaggwa was an internationally renown business management specialist who had worked in Britain, Japan, and South Africa. She died in Cape Town over a week ago after an illness.The burial took place at Ndoddo village, Mawokota in Mpigi district. Among those present at the burial was international affairs state minister Tom Butime, UPC national chairman, Haji Badru Wegulo and UPC Presidential Policy Commission members James Rwanyarare (chairman), Henry Mayega (vice-chairman) and Prof Adonia Tiberondwa as well as former agricultural minister in the Obote II government, Samwiri Mugwisa.
