IN BRIEF: Promotion

KAMPALA — Dr. Joy Kwesiga, dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Makerere University, was recently promoted to Associate Professor at the Department of Gender and Women Studies. The vice-chancellor, Prof John Ssebwufu, said Kwesiga would also head the newly-established gender mainstreaming division at Makerere University. Kwesiga is a founder member of Action for Development. Ends
