Tumwesigye and Simon MugenyiTHE Uganda Women’s Network (UWONET) has got a new boss after Sheila Kawamala’s contract, who joined the East African Legislative Assembly expired.Kawamara told journalists at Hotel Equatoria in Kampala yesterday that the out-going UWONET co-ordinator, officially introduced the new co-ordinator Jackie Asiimwe Mwesige, who has just returned from the United States after a two-year masters’ course.Kawamara said in order for Uganda to advance and develop, it must respect and promote the rights of the family.“One way of respecting and promoting the rights of the family, is to have in place enabling laws that protect the family to enhance family members.” she said.Kawamara attacked people who are sabotaging the Domestic Relations Bill.
