KAMPALA — The Government has secured US $26.4m (about sh47.5b) from donors for agricultural modernisation in the south-west. Chebet Maikut, the president of Uganda National Farmers Federation Enterprise, (UNFFE), said the programme would focus on 13 districts. Maikut was on Monday addressing over 40 farmers’ leaders at UNFFE headquarters at a three-day pre-season workshop.Ends
