Ocheger told The New Vision at Yovani Hotel in Kampala that when he resigned from the Multi-party National Referendum Committee (MRC) in May 2000, there was a sh5m balance on the account.EC secretary Sam Rwakoojo told Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee that Ocheger had not accounted for the money.“It was unfair for Rwakoojo to make a statement without trying to call me. I am ready to defend myself before any public authority,” he said. Ends
