MUKONO—Brick makers have encroached on all the wetlands in the district leading to fears that the swamps may soon dry up.
MUKONO—Brick makers have encroached on all the wetlands in the district leading to fears that the swamps may soon dry up. Areas encroached on are Mbalala, Buikwe and Ntawo near Mukono town. The district environment officer, Solomon Musoke said brick making in the area has caused swamp destruction and encroachment on the agriculture land.Ends
