The explosive, still looking new, was handed over to ballistic experts attached to Jinja Road Police Station.Kampala Police chief Ahmed Wafuba, full of praise for the boys, said their action was based on being informed.“First of all, they strayed on the explosive. They wrapped it up and took it to a near-by Police post,†Wafuba said.“That grenade could have killed or injured lots of people if these two kids played with it. They did a very good job. They must have known the risk the explosive posed,†he added. He advised the public not to tamper with such explosives but report to the Police.Ends
