THE visiting Korean delegation from Kumi district of South Korea, have said they will develop and promote Nyero sub-county in Kumi district to a first class educational city.
The word Kumi in Korea mean tortoise.
Rev. Han revealed the Korean plan of development in Uganda at the Christian Joy Primary School recently.
the minister of state for disaster Preparedness, Christine Amongin Aporu, said the President was pleased with the Uganda-Korean good ties.
He urged Kumi residents to utilise the peaceful atmosphere created by the Government to further develop the district. Aporu said plans were underway to give bursaries best performing pupils in the district. Ends
