Our client, Save the Children, is a dedicated and professional alliance working in over 120 countries across the globe and comprising Save the Children is the world's largest independent movement for children.
An agreement has been reached to consolidate the 4 members of Save the Children in Uganda: Norway, Denmark, USA and UK to one programme, under one management.
The purpose of the consolidation is to: increase the impact of Save the Children, Represent Save the Children in a unified manner, develop a competitive advantage in relation to donors, increase profile and increase capacity to respond to emergencies.
As lead agency for this process, Save the Children Norway, is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of: CONSOLIDATION MANAGER.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, review and implement a work plan and budget for the consolidation process in cooperation ensuring, that all the SC Norway's responsibilities are attended to.
- In cooperation with UMT, organize and follow up projects, develop programmes and administrative structures and procedures.
- Coordinate working groups to feed into the process and ensure results.
- Create joint ownership to the new entity.
- Act as communication liaison between UMT, partners, staff and Head offices.
- Liaise with relevant authorities and donor partners.
- Facilitate documentation of the process and sharing of experience among other Save the Children members globally.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications: A relevant post graduate degree e.g. Organisational Development - Change Management, Computer Literacy is a MUST.
Experience: Minimum 5 years working experience in managing organisational change at a high level, preferably with an NGO working with and for children. Excellent facilitation, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in facilitating and managing change processes in a multicultural society. Ability to apply an inclusive and consultative working style.
Ability to negotiate mutually acceptable solutions.
Other Skills: Excellent command of spoken and written English. Excellent report writing skills. Team Oriented. Good management skills. Result-Oriented. Ability to work under limited time frames. Strong change and people management skills. Ability to effectively manage diverse personalities including high-level managers in a multi cultural environment.
