JINJA — State minister for health Capt. Mike Mukula has supported UPDF involvement in politics, saying the army is an important institution in the political development of a country. He said UPDF critics had forgotten armies were involved in politics in former regimes. Mukula was discussing a paper on “The role of the military in Uganda’s politics” at Jinja Secondary School on Tuesday. Ends
